An ad listed on Craigslist this week asks $225,000 for a restaurant that has supposedly been profitable for six years. Included are photos believed to be of Vietnamese restaurant Zadin (4039 18th St.). Thanks to some not-quite-expert reporting (i.e. eating at a lot of places), this spot has been most likely outed as being for sale, and with your help, more may be revealed.
Also listed for sale this week: a Union Street restaurant that may be on the 2200 block, which includes Gamine (2223 Union), Rose's Cafe (2298 Union) and Marina Submarine (2299 Union); a Mediterranean joint in Albany that's said to be "high-grossing," with an owner who wants to retire; and a "turnkey" Thai spot in Half Moon Bay with a fairly elaborate water-fountain situation. Speculation as to the identities of these places is encouraged in the comments.
