Cotogna's Sidewalk Sale; Michelin Digs Smoking Pig

JACKSON SQUAREMichael Tusk's Cotogna is launching Sunday brunch on February 10th with a sidewalk sale of its used porcelain dishes from the likes of Bernardau, Heath Ceramics, and Raynaud. Dishes will include a porchetta panino with fried egg and brioche French toast with huckleberries and mascarpone, and they'll have $5 Bloody Marys or coupes of Prosecco for the occasion. [EaterWire]

SAN JOSEThe mystery man or woman behind the Michelin SF Twitter account has declared San Jose's Smoking Pig hallowed ground for BBQ fans: "Filled up at Smoking Pig in San Jose; while the ribs rule, don't count out the peppery, smoky brisket and chicken or the delish beans...until Franklin or LA (both Austin) or Black's (Lockhart) open a bbq outpost in the Bay Area, than Smoking Pig is the next best thing."
