Fresca Owner Plans A Peruvian Restaurant In Pacifica

Photo partially from Trip Advisor

Since bringing suede to the Sunset in 2010, Jose Calvo-Perez, has been hunkering down at his three Fresca outposts and Pasión, but he's also had another spot in the works for quite some time in Pacifica. Puerto 27 Peruvian Kitchen & Pisco Bar, will be a 140-seater inside the Pacifica Beach Hotel, serving up ocean views and a fitting menu of "authentic Peruvian small plates." Calvo-Perez has former La Mar/Limon bartender Enrique Sanchez on staff creating a menu of pisco-centric cocktails, and—just like at Pasión—he's enlisted restaurant muralist-about-town Michael Brennan to put together something artsy for the walls. For what it's worth, there is is also talk of a "large gold colored Inca head sculpture." Stay tuned for an opening in early February.
