Bar Wire

As of today, La Urbana officially has a new bar on offer, El Garaje Urbano. The space adjacent to the buzzy Divisadero Mexican spot is eventually intended to be its casual taqueria component, Mercado Urbano, but for now, it's a lounge-y extension of the main restaurant, with an honor bar offering $5 beers and agua de jamaica, a bartender serving sangria, house mezcales, and mezcal punch, and free popcorn (with a casual food menu forthcoming). It's open Thursday-Saturday, 5 pm-1 am. [EaterWire]
