This weekend saw a food TV victory for chef Chris Mortenson of Napa's La Condesa, who took top honors after a grueling competition on the Food Network's "Cutthroat Kitchen." The episode, which aired October 20th, has Mortenson on top for his pancakes, jambalaya, and meatloaf and mashed potatoes, defeating Errol LeBlanc of Café Sevilla in Las Vegas, Jason Hisley of La Cakerie in Baltimore, and private chef Elise El-Shenaway.
