If Ciccio in Yountville was your favorite secret spot, then consider the secret officially out: Bauer dropped a hefty three-star review of the spot, which he breathlessly calls "an affair of the heart." The "attention to detail is grand" at the newish spot, which serves reinterpretations of "classic Italian dishes that you don't find much outside of North Beach these days." The food is so good that it apparently obliterated Bauer's mental thesaurus: he loves the "exceptional" cioppino, "exceptional" whole roasted fish, and "exceptional" caramelized cauliflower, and the food is "exceptionally well priced for the quality of the ingredients and preparations." Three stars. [Chron]
