Souvla Snags Sebo Space; 4505's Paleo Turducken

HAYES VALLEYSebo just closed on Saturday, but its space on Hayes already has a taker: Souvla, a fast-casual Greek spot from Charles Bililies (Bouchon, Michael Mina) featuring artisan souvlaki, Greek frozen yogurt, and draft beer and wine. Tablehopper previewed the concept last year, for those seeking further intel. [Hayeswire/Tablehopper]

THE MISSION4505 Meats has offered a Turducken for Thanksgiving for the past few years, but this year, they're upping the ante with a paleo Turducken. Only in San Francisco, folks. [@4505_meats]

OAKLAND—The gang at Eater NY did a special Cocktail Week history of tiki palace Trader Vic's, which got its start in the East Bay (and was Richard Nixon's favorite restaurant). Though NYC's location closed in 1989, pu pu platter-seekers can still visit the location in Emeryville. [~ ENY ~]

NOB HILL—There's a new late-night dinner option in town: Amelie, the Nob Hill wine bar, is serving small plates from 10 pm-12:30 am Thursday-Saturday, with escargot, beef tartare, chicken liver mousse, and a bunch of cheese and charcuterie. They also recently opened a second location in NYC. [EaterWire]
