After a successful Kickstarter campaign for their new Mediterranean project, Shakewell Bar & Kitchen, Top Chef and Scala's Bistro alums Jen Biesty and Tim Nugent have nailed down a space: the former Mezze (3407 Lakeshore Ave.) The 80-seat space will be designed by the Bon Vivants, and will feature two communal tables, a chef's table, a wood-burning oven, and a full bar. Construction starts in December, with an anticipated opening date of next March. [Tablehopper]
