Week in Reviews

Bauer took a dislike to The Vestry's "off-kilter" vibe and "hit-or-miss" food in this weekend's review. Some dishes, like the "plump" mussels and "juicy" Alsatian sausage, showed the two-month-old restaurant had promise, but an "inedible" pigs in a blanket and "limp and greasy" fries made Bauer hesitate to recommend the new spot. "The Vestry seems not yet to have found its sweet spot." Two stars. [Chron]
