Danny Bowien's Mission-inspired taco joint Mission Cantina opened this week in New York, further solidifying his SF-to-NYC culinary bridge. The menu is comprised of elevated appetizers like soft-scrambled eggs with sea urchin, a wide range of $4-5 tacos, and larger entrees like a whole rotisserie chicken with rice, chorizo and pecans. Eater NY has the full working menu and and a peek inside the new spot. Meanwhile, details are still scarce on Bowien's next project, which will bring him back to San Francisco for something Asian-inspired. [~ ENY ~]
