Ownership Shuffles

Changes are afoot at the Outer Richmond's 28-year-old Fredy's Ocean Beach Deli, which has been purchased by David Nottage from the titular owner (who is suffering from health problems). Nottage, who fully takes over on December 1, will change the name to Kawika's Ocean Beach Deli (Kawika is his Hawaiian name). While he'll keep classic items on the menu, he also plans to add gluten-free and Greek fare, and make better use of the liquor license, which allows for both BYOB and on-premises consumption, with an improved wine selection.
