Chef Shuffles

Gitane chef Bridget Batson left the restaurant a couple of weeks ago to join culinary startup Munchery, and now her husband and co-chef, Patrick Kelly, has departed the kitchen as well. Owner Franck LeClerc is putting recent acquisition Alicia Jenish (Grand Cafe), his group chef, in the kitchen for now, but says he's seeking someone who "can take Gitane to the next step."
