Oakland natural wine bar The Punchdown will serve its last glass next Friday, November 15, as the owners have lost their lease. "The owners of the wine bar have sold it and we could not exercise our right of first refusal; the buyer's offer was simply too high," Lisa Costa and D.C. Looney wrote in a Facebook post. The duo plan to revive the Punchdown elsewhere at a later date (with pop-ups in the intervening period), and will offer 10% off everything until they close. [Facebook via East Bay Dish]
