Spark, the organization that helps low-income middle schoolers get involved in their communities through career internships and mentorships, is on the verge of throwing its annual Sugar Rush fundraiser tomorrow night. 400 people will pack the Sir Francis Drake hotel to sample wine and sweets from the chefs of Chez Panisse, Delfina, Oola, Georges, and more, and as part of the effort, the organization has given us an exclusive first look at the lineup of dishes and drinks.
The food lineup:
Michael Bilger, Georges: Beet-cured local sablefish with pumpernickel, horseradish crema, and trout roe
Let's Be Frank: Variety of grass-fed gourmet hot dogs, including bratwursts, spicy bratwursts, beef and turkey dogs
Ola Fendert, Oola: Ribs and rib slider sandwiches
Larry Finn, Scala's Bistro: Forest mushroom crostini with burgundy truffle and truffle balsamic; dark-chocolate marquise with brandied cherries and crème fraiche
Carrie Lewis, Chez Panisse: Quince ice cream with almond torte and huckleberries
Brian Gremillion, Delfina: La Quercia prosciutto Americano with Frog Hollow pears and parmigiano fricco
Terri Wu, Farallon: Almond-raspberry cake with Valrhona Opalys ganache; Fig-raspberry pate de fruit; Cognac Dudognon bittersweet chocolate truffle

Tickets to the event are $75 ($85 door) for general admission and $125 ($135 door) for VIPs. Other attractions include a raffle, photo booth, and silent auction.
