Samovar Tea Lounge, now with booze! That's the latest spin from the mini-chain of ultra-Zen tea and organic food cafes (located in Hayes Valley, the Castro, and the Yerba Buena Gardens), which is applying for beer and wine licenses for all three of its locations. The plan is to infuse sake with some of their teas in an attempt to expand the concept and make it more viable in the evening hours and at brunch.
