La Urbana's Brunch; La Toque's Gingerbread Contest

NOPALa Urbana has joined the ranks of upscale restaurants now serving brunch with a refined Mexican-style menu that features dishes like pozole, chilaquiles con carne asada and tamale de chile con queso. Brunch will be served on weekends from 11am to 2:30pm. [Tablehopper]

NAPA—It's gingerbread time at La Toque, which is holding its third annual gingerbread house decorating contest on Sunday. All proceeds from the entry free will go to benefit Boys and Girls Club, and dinner at La Toque and an overnight at the Westin Verasa Napa are on the line for the winners of both the amateur and professional categories.
