Some very sad news for Hanukkah: Moishe's Pippic, the 26-year-old Hayes Valley Chicago-style deli, has closed down. After Hayeswire broke the story, Inside Scoop got in touch with owner Joe Sattler, who said "I'm retiring...Saturday was our last day, and life goes on. That's it." Moishe's was one of the few remaining Hayes Valley businesses whose lifespan preceded the neighborhood's revitalization; it's also the second long-running spot in the trendy 'hood to close this year, following sushi spot Sebo.
