The Lower Haight is about to get a little sweeter with the addition of a French cream puff outfit next door to the returning Three Twins Ice Cream scoop shop. Called Choux after the pastry dough that's used in cream puffs, the forthcoming shop will carry said puffs and other goodies from pastry chef Laura Athuil, who learned the craft of pastry in her hometown of Nice, France. Look for a mid-February opening at the newly reenergized Haight and Fillmore corner. [Haighteration]
