Add another restaurant to the lengthy list of Castro shutters in 2013: Zadin Vietnamese Cuisine, as predicted earlier this year, closed last night after seven years in business. There already appears to be another Vietnamese restaurant poised to take its place, with a liquor-license transfer for a second location of popular FiDi Cal-Vietnamese joint Urban Picnic in the offing. The restaurant specializes in pho, banh mi, and healthy options like quinoa bowls and salads; no word on when they plan to open in the space. [Castro Biscuit]
