Paulie Giannone, the namesake pizzaiolo of critically acclaimed Brooklyn pie shop Paulie Gee's, is on his way to Oakland. In a team-up with current Brooklyn employee Andrew Brown, Giannone is in search of a space in the East Bay, which he believes has a similar demographic to his home base in Greenpoint. The location will have a Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven, and will join planned expansions in Portland, Chicago, Vegas, and more. Expect it in late 2014 or early 2015. [~ EN ~]
