After two years as the executive director of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, Rob Black is on his way out. The public-policy maven, who represented the interests of a wide swath of SF's restaurants at City Hall and to the media and was a key player behind the SF Chefs festival, has been poached by PG&E to serve as their senior director of community relations. No replacement has been announced; associate director Donnalyn Murphy is filling in until a hire is made. [SF Business Times]
