Maya Erickson Voted SF's Hottest Chef

New, 4 comments

The people have spoken: Maya Erickson of AQ is the fourth chef, and the first woman and pastry chef, to take home the Eater crown as Hottest Chef in San Francisco. With photos like the cuteness at right, we're not surprised in the least. Though Chris Thompson of A16 wasn't able to conquer her in the polls, he can at least content himself with the title of hottest male chef, which he won over The Restaurant at Meadowood's Christopher Kostow. Maya joins the pantheon of previous hot winners Louis Maldonado (Spoonbar), David Bazirgan (Fifth Floor), and Mark Dommen (One Market).

Thanks to all of the chefs for their willingness to be objectified for the day, to our readers for nominating and voting on the winners, and to San Francisco for drawing so many attractive people to its kitchens. We'll let you know when Maya competes on SF's behalf in Eater's Hottest Chef in the Nation finals so you can vote for her.
