A shuttered firehouse on Dimond Street in Oakland has finally come up for purchase, and the city is fielding six potential tenants. The most notable are the owners of Luka's Taproom in Oakland, who want to open a beer-focused BBQ spot in the space, and have the backing of the Dimond Improvement Association. The city will announce the winning bidder in six to eight weeks. [Inside Bay Area via Inside Scoop]
