Chef Shuffles

To go along with that new Mission bakery space they picked up last week, Wise Sons Deli has also decided to bring in a new chef: Matt Shapiro, who previously handled double duty as executive chef of the Mission German empire of Schmidt's and Walzwerk. The third wise son will help owners Leo Beckerman and Evan Bloom keep up the pace at the mothership as they get the baking underway and move towards eventually adding dinner service; black-and-white cookies are also promised.
