Though they were originally supposed to pack up and move out by this Friday, March 1, Drake's Bay Oyster Company has been granted a stay of execution until their appeal is heard, which will likely be the week of May 13-17. For those new to the story, the National Park Service has decided not to renew the company's lease at the Point Reyes National Seashore, due to its activities being harmful to the environment (a claim Drake's denies).
