Top Chef Richard Blais Brings His New Cookbook to SF

Richard Blais, Top Chef All-Star Champ and anime hairstyle enthusiast, released his first cookbook this week, Try This at Home: Recipes from My Head to Your Plate from Clarkson Potter. The book, which promises "creative twists on classic meals," contains 125 crazy awesome-sounding recipes like pork belly-stuffed baked potatoes, macaroni and headcheese, and black-olive chocolate cake.

Blais will be gracing the Bay Area with his presence on Sunday and Monday for two local book signing events. The book, which you can check out here, will be available for purchase for $30. No word yet on how high his faux-hawk will be.
