If you've been putting off nominating your favorite fresh-faced culinary professional for the 2013 Eater Young Guns awards, now is the time: the submission deadline is tomorrow. The aim of Young Guns, which launched last year with the inaugural 16-person class, is to identify the most promising up-and-comers in the restaurant and nightlife world, whether they're working as chefs or line cooks, sommeliers or bartenders, restaurateurs or maître d's.
Just a reminder of the rules: nominees must be either under 30 years of age, or, if over 30, have worked in their chosen field for less than five years. They must be currently employed in the hospitality industry in the United States. Our super-awesome panel of judges, including Alice Waters, Michael Mina, Dominique Crenn, Mario Batali, Andrew Zimmern, David Chang, Danny Meyer, and many more, will help choose the winners.
Fill out the nomination form here; if you have additional supporting materials, please send them our way at youngguns@eater.com.
