Absinthe's cocktail program is about to undergo a shakeup: they've just announced that they're poaching bar manager Jared Schmidt, who currently holds that position at Quince. Schmidt, who also has Comstock Saloon and La Mar Cebicheria on his resume, plans to create more seasonal drinks and maintain a daily chalkboard menu.
