The Napa space formerly known as Ubuntu Restaurant & Yoga Studio (1140 Main) is still on the market some seven months after it was initially listed. A new tenant could benefit from the previous $4 million renovation, as well as features like stone walls, a 30-foot ceiling, and, according to the broker's ad, "excellent feng shui." The garden has been at least somewhat maintained, and would be a possibility for a new restaurant to build upon.

Back in San Francisco, a 202-unit apartment building in the Mission called Vara Apartments (1600 15th Street) will open this June and seeks a tenant for its restaurant space. The building is at the corner of 15th and Mission, which would put the proposed eatery in a spot that isn't already totally overrun with options.

Finally, there are ads on Craigslist to sell a West Oakland fry shack and a North Beach restaurant that seats 75 inside and 25 on an outdoor patio. Can you identify any of these blind items? Please bring them to light in the comments.
