Thomas Keller gave an extremely sassy interview to the Huffington Post today, in which he responds to Corby Kummer's Vanity Fair essay criticizing his "tyrannical" tasting menus: "I'm not sure what the point of the article was." He also has harsh words for media outlets glorifying celebrity chefs: "I wish that you would call them leaders in the profession. We don't call people in the medical field 'medical celebrities.'" Consider us schooled, Mr. Keller: you are a leader in both your profession and in smart-mouthing journalists. [Huffington Post]
