The wine selection from top sommelier and Quince alum David Lynch is perhaps St. Vincent's most notable feature, and now you can harness Lynch's expertise to select a few bottles to bring home. Starting this week, St. Vincent will be open every Saturday afternoon from 12-3 pm for "shop hours," where Lynch and his staff will lead a tasting of a handful of wines, then offer them at retail. This week is all about staff favorites ranging from a Napa white blend to an "absolutely ridiculous Bordeaux value," and to top it off, none all of them are under $25. (See the full list here.)

If you're peckish, chef Bill Niles will be offering some lunch items for sale during the tasting, and the featured wines will also be available by the glass for enjoying with a meal. The restaurant has had their retail license since the beginning (as did Heart, the wine bar that preceded them in the space), but this is their first foray into sales outside of selling bottles to customers here and there. In addition to this weekly offering, Lynch and his somms are happy to help customers coordinate larger orders of vino for parties; just give 'em a call to discuss. They're also promising some beer tastings and sales with cicerone Sayre Piotrkowski in the near future.
