La Luna Cupcakes, from La Cocina alum Elvia Buendia, has just opened a small brick-and-mortar location in the Crocker Galleria. A native of Mexico, Buendia is the first cupcake-maker to offer savory cupcakes like bacon and eggs and beef with cheese and salsa (she promises you'll be "pleasantly surprised"), as well as sweet flavors like tres leches and red velvet.
