NAPA—In honor of International Women's Day this weekend, the Westin Verasa Napa is hosting a two-day Somm Sisters Soiree, kicking off with a five-course collaborative dinner from Michelin-starred La Toque chef Ken Frank and Jennifer Puccio of Marlowe and Park Tavern, paired with vintages from female winemakers, on Thursday night. Then, the next afternoon, the Westin will host a Women of the Vine Grand Tasting, dedicated to wines made by women and featuring the likes of Cakebread, Charles Krug, Chalk Hill, and Gary Farrell. Admission is $200 for the dinner and $50 for the tasting. If you want to stay at the hotel, they've also got some special packages. [EaterWire]

THE MISSION—If you're interested in a dining experience that's as much Cosmo quiz as tasting menu, Route to India is offering an Ayurveda-themed meal at Amber Dhara on Thursday night, with different dishes depending on your ayurvedic "type," as determined by an online survey. For $150, you'll get a four-course prix-fixe meal focused on foods that nurture your individual chemistry, as well as a pre-meal meditation. Tickets available here. [EaterWire]

HAYES VALLEY—Scandinavian beer doesn't get as much attention in SF as our local brews, but with Sweden's Mikkeller introducing a new beer bar in the Tenderloin later this year, it's definitely going to. Steel yourself for the Viking invasion with a $60 five-course Scandinavian beer pairing dinner at Plaj, featuring dishes like beer-braised oxtail and spice cake with salted caramel paired with brews from Christoffel, Tool, Nogne O, Oppegards, and of course, Mikkeller. The menu is viewable here; call (415) 294-8925 for reservations. [EaterWire]
