Grub Street took notice of a liquor-license transfer application for Yong San Lounge, the Asian dive at Bush and Taylor. The applicants? The absurdly busy team of Duncan Ley and Benjamin Bleiman, who already run Bullitt, Tonic, Dr. Teeth, Lightning Tavern, Soda Popinski's, and Rebel (not to mention the forthcoming Wild Hare in Pac Heights). This would be bar #8 for the duo, who seem to have cracked the code on bro bars—all that Fernet and Jameson on draft probably doesn't hurt. [Grub Street]
