THE MISSION—Only a day after it was announced, planned Mission mini-golf course Urban Putt is ruffling some feathers: Uptown Almanac has a photo of a window that was broken there last night, and it and Mission Mission are also showcasing dueling letters between the initial NIMBY groundswell and first-time mini-golf entrepreneur Steve Fox. Those with concerns are encouraged to e-mail Fox, who'll also be holding a neighborhood meeting in early May. [Mission Mission, Uptown Almanac]

SOMA—The Young Professionals Advisory Council of Family House, which provides housing to families with children undergoing treatment at UCSF, is throwing a Brewtastic Bash this Saturday at Aracely, featuring local nanobreweries like Euphemia Ales, Poplar Brewing, Brewlab SF, Comrades Brewing, and Gone Boating. The $45 ticket buys unlimited tastes of each brewery's beers, along with bites and music; they'll also have a raffle and silent auction, and all proceeds will benefit Family House. Grab tickets here. THE MISSION—As his hoped-for project in the Peninsula starts to get underway, former Manresa chef de cuisine Jean Paul Carmona is looking to test out some recipes with a pop-up stint at Naked Kitchen next Saturday, April 20. He and fellow Manresa alum Andrew Burnham will offer dishes like pork with black sesame and a red fruit and beet stew with yogurt ice. Tickets are $125 (not including wine, which is BYOB), and there are two seatings, 6 and 9 pm. [Grub Street]

THE MISSION—If you're looking for a slightly less upscale way to spend your 4/20, consider attending The Bold Italic's 4/20 Meat Up. In collaboration with ForageSF, they'll be offering five mini-sausages made with foraged ingredients like nettles and wild mushrooms, as well as potato salad with sea beans and grilled asparagus. The $35 admission includes one free drink, or if you want to get extra sauced, drop another $15 for an hour-long hosted bar. Music, games, and a photobooth will also be on hand. [EaterWire]
