Coming Attractions

In a James Beard Foundation interview, the State Bird Provisions team of Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski shared a little intel about their forthcoming spinoff, The Progress (to be located two doors down, with the still-pending Hapa in between). It'll feature a full bar, larger plates, 25-foot ceilings, and a mezzanine. There's no timeline yet, but they're excited: "It has always been a dream to have this kind of setup where we can share elements of each kitchen and limit our commute." [JBF via Grub Street]
