Ain't no party like a Pete Mrabe party: the busy Don Pisto's and Chubby Noodle entrepreneur, who's already got a second Chubby Noodle in the Marina and an Italian deli forthcoming, has snapped up another North Beach space, the recently vacated Nico's Tacos, and is redubbing it Pisto's Tacos. He plans to open May 1, and Don Pisto's will lose most of the tacos from its menu when he does. Mrabe will definitely have some competition in the taco department: Tacolicious is opening its first North Beach outpost two blocks away later this year. [Tablehopper]
