On a visit to Coqueta, Anna Roth noticed that the restaurant has Michelin and Zagat recommendation stickers plastered on its door, despite opening only two weeks ago. As it turns out, Michael Chiarello isn't shuffling stickers from his other restaurants; they're leftover from previous tenant Lafitte, and nobody scraped them off the door because said door was scheduled to be replaced before opening. It's been delayed twice, but should go in tomorrow, ending this whole sticker charade. We're guessing any potentially easily-fooled tourists were already coming to see Chiarello, so no harm done.
