Haas, Jr. and his wife Evelyn. The current owner is Internet entrepreneur John McLaughlin, who spent "about four times what he was quoted" on a one-year complete remodel.

CIVIC CENTER—If you're fixing to call Civic Center home, we've mapped the five least expensive properties for sale. All but one are under $500K, and there's even a two-bedroom at the Book Concern Building for $478K.
