Chiang Wire

The easy highlight of our weekend at Pebble Beach Food & Wine was the tribute dinner to legendary Mandarin restaurateur Cecilia Chiang (pictured at said dinner at right), and Inside Scoop has us reminiscing all over again with the touching video tribute to Chiang that played at the event, as well as a thoughtful reflection on the meal by Michael Bauer. Chiang is also this year's lifetime-achievement honoree at the James Beard Awards, and at 93 years young (seriously, the woman can party), she deserves every plaudit.
