The juice trend continues to explode locally, as the Thrive Juicery duo of Megan Propp and Stephanie Hubbard, who have been serving their juices and mimosas at Nectar Wine Lounge for the past year or so, have opened their first brick-and-mortar shop at One Embarcadero Center. All the standards are here, in hefty 16-ounce containers ($9), from three kinds of green juice (including a "tropical" pineapple version) to cashew and almond milk and cayenne lemonade. Fresh coconut water (with pulp) is also available, as are 3-5 day cleanse packages ($65-75/day).
Both owners studied at New York's Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and their juices are cold-pressed for maximum nutritional punch. The space is simple and cheerful, with a big front case of juices for hauling back to the office or gym. Hours are 6 am-7 pm Monday-Friday, and 9 am-3 pm Saturday and Sunday. Their Nectar pop-up also continues to run daily from 8 am-3 pm, with mimosas on the weekends.
