NIMBY Corner

The shutdown of the Bacon Bacon brick-and-mortar this week managed to make it to the national stage, with an appearance on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update (which, in a rare treat, featured returning newscaster Amy Poehler). After noting the restaurant was forced to close by neighbors complaining about the smell of bacon, Poehler quips that "it must be really tricky to go up to a cop and complain that something smells like bacon."
