SFoodie's Mary Ladd contributes a nice remembrance of KGO Radio's Gene Burns, who passed away this weekend at the age of 72 after declining health due to a series of strokes. Burns' popular radio program Dining Around, which is now hosted by Joel Riddell, had long attracted an array of local chefs and food personalities, and Burns himself was known for his convivial personality and approachable manner.
