Now that Jen Biesty has left Scala's Bistro to go start her own East Bay project, a new chef has taken the reins: Larry Finn, who was Gray Kunz's right-hand man for many years (and the opening executive chef at Cafe Gray) and has also logged stints at Morimoto and the Four Seasons in NYC. A Campton Place alum, Finn will be reunited with a familiar face from his time there, longtime Scala's pastry chef Tim Nugent, and plans to keep things mostly the same at a restaurant "where nothing is broke...it's a busy place."
