Like Jonathan Kauffman before him, Bauer was charmed by the fare at the Olema Inn's new restaurant Sir & Star, where Daniel DeLong and Margaret Grade offer "a fine balance of hominess and sophistication," served at "reasonable prices [that] belie the quality of what DeLong produces." He enjoys the "whimsical menu" of "well executed" bone marrow, "exceptional" quail, and the "comprehensive" Marin-centric wine list, dubbing it "country dining at its best." Three stars, and 3.5 for food. [Chron]
