Now that San Francisco and Oakland are firmly ensconced in the way of the parklet, it looks like Berkeley will be the next city to turn parking spaces into mini-parks. The Transportation Commission has drawn up a report that will likely be heard by the City Council on July 2, and the Cheese Board, Saul's Deli, and Philz Coffee in the Gourmet Ghetto have already expressed some level of interest in getting a parklet.
