Ceri Smith's cute, eccentric wine bar on upper Polk Street, Et Al., is dunzo as of last night, as Inside Scoop reports. The place had only been open eight months, and the name referred to the "others" in terms of international wine regions and varietals that Smith wanted to highlight, outside the Italian focus of her wine shop around the corner, Biondivino.
Smith says that while she's no longer involved with the wine bar, she remains owner of Biondivino, and has a couple of other projects in the pipeline. Meanwhile, it sounds like former partner Arnold Thoroughman could have something else planned for the Et Al space.
