SF Weekly's Anna Roth just toured the city in search of the weirdest ice cream flavors?this being an age of wild experimentation in the ice cream realm, which only sometimes yields successful results. She says Humphry Slocombe's salt and pepper ice cream is like a "salt lick" but "it wasn't entirely unpleasant." She's sad to find DeLise Dessert Cafe's famed pesto ice cream sold out, and she ends up gagging on Polly Ann's totally disgusting, neon yellow durian ice cream (pictured). [SF Weekly]
