LAKESIDE—Sad news: after more than 20 years on Ocean Avenue, beloved diner Lakeside Cafe is closing its doors due to a landlord issue. It'll go dark at the end of August. [Inside Scoop]

THE MISSION—Samin Nosrat has announced that her guests at Tartine Afterhours on July 31 will be Franny Stephens and Andrew Feinberg of NYC's acclaimed Franny's. They'll have crostini, wine, and sweets, plus cookbooks for signing. Tickets are $35 or $60 with the book. [@ciaosamin]
