Though he's still looking to get an upscale spot in wine country off the ground, Douglas Keane has found a good use of his time since the closure of Cyrus: he'll be one of the cheftestapants on season five of Top Chef Masters, competing for a $100,000 donation to his Green Dog Rescue Project charity. Keane is up against some stiff competition, including David Burke, Sue Zemanick, Sang Yoon, and first-ever cheftestapant-turned-master Bryan Voltaggio. This season will also feature a new web series, "Battle of the Sous Chefs," in which sous chefs compete to earn points for their bosses. Drew Glassell, a former Marine who spent five years at Cyrus, will be Keane's partner. The new season premieres July 24th.
